Document Control Specialist

Full-time - Ontario, CA

Job Summary

Perform complex work of an administrative nature. Provide assistance to the departments head(s). Work with minimal instruction or supervision. Organize schedule for the department; manage files for easy access.

Responsibility

  • Prepare documents (certificate of analysis, master dossier, specifications, procedures, methods, forms, etc. in approved format for signatories. Responsible for issuing accurate, error-free written documents.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining accurate, current files on all related documents, literatures and materials. Documents may include highly confidential information which should be treated accordingly.
  • Audit and prepare monthly reports on the Cost of Quality (OOS, NCR’s, CAPA, Return Goods, Customer Complaints, Yield Discrepancies, Labeling Discrepancies, Hold Items)
  • Track outside testing reports.
  • May do research for a project or a specific matter.
  • May receive visits or calls regarding complaints, customer comments and instructions which may be resolved or referred to the appropriate person.
  • Organize and expedite work flow through department head’s office. Keep department head(s) update with day’s event and occurrences.
  • Assist in the labeling audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Education/Experience

  • AA degree or equivalent education.
  • Training and experience required.
  • Individual will have a minimum of three years experience in clerical or sales environment, preferable in related industry.
  • Position demands superior oral and written communications skills.

Required Skills

  • Word processing experience is required.
  • Experience in a spreadsheet software and database applications is preferred.
  • General computer literacy is prerequisite.
  • Must possess ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diplomacy in all facts of the position.

7 Daze is looking for a passionate, self-driven Brand Sales Associate to be a part of our Sales team. The Sales Associate will devise and implement the company’s sales strategy for domestic and international countries. The Sales Associate will maintain and further the brands of 7 Daze towards our company’s journey to become the leading global brand. Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

Full-time - Ontario, CA

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative, HR, bookkeeping, and payroll tasks. Works closely with VP of operations, the General Sales Managers and Operations Managers. This position will work as the liaison between employees and Employee Services/Human Resources, Benefits/Payroll, IT and other departments within the organization.

Responsibility

  • Responsible for providing general office support with a variety of clerical activities, ordering supplies and equipment, data entry, and other related tasks
  • Works with Sales Manager’s to verify paperwork
  • Support the administrative needs of the administrator as well as the Operations/Sales needs, and Management Team needs.
  • Manage all office administrative activities, including daily mail and USPS deliveries and shipments, ordering of office supplies, maintenance of office equipment, and other day-to-day office operations
  • Assist HR and Administer all facets of the hiring process between the hiring manager and the Recruiting, Employee Services, Benefits/Payroll and IT departments from beginning to end
  • Responsible for setting up new accounts, adding designated pricing and other account changes for all sales routes in the designated areas using the ERP software, Netsuite.
  • Direct liaison between Sales Team and Accounting Team – invoice or deposit discrepancies, open balances, etc. for the locations covered
  • Assist Sr. Administrator or General Sales Managers(s) with routing imports or changes, customer information, invoice history and other tasks via Netsuite
  • Run daily and weekly reports for Sr. Administrator and General Sales Manager
  • Assist with planning team-building events and other gatherings
  • Responsible for keeping track of all hardware – handhelds, printers, etc.

Education/Experience

  • Associate's degree (preferred)
  • Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative: 3 years (preferred)

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

Quality Assurance Technician

Full-time - Ontario, CA

Job Summary

The QA Technician interprets and implements quality assurance standards to ensure compliance with both regulatory bodies and 7 Daze internal policies. Performs internal auditing of processes, policies, and personnel to evaluate the effectiveness of the quality assurance programs and support improvement initiatives in all aspects of quality Attributes. Performs in-process inspection and physical testing of products to ensure compliance with specifications. Supports departmental goals and executes staffing and improvement initiatives to align with company objectives and KPIs.

Responsibility

  • Interprets and implements quality assurance standards to ensure quality and cGMP regulations.
  • Work with the Quality Assurance Team to maintain all relevant certifications and to remain in good standing with all relevant regulatory / certification bodies (i.e. FDA).
  • Aids in the maintenance of the environmental monitoring program, ATP swabbing, and verification of sanitation practices.
  • Performs routine chemical and physical analysis of the finished product, including sensory evaluations.
  • Maintain the QA Laboratory equipment up to date and troubleshoot as needed.
  • Reviews and evaluates production records, applying quality assurance criteria.
  • Support pre-requisite programs within the facility such as GMP’s, sanitation, maintenance, pest control, supplier approval, food defense, chemical control, customer complaints, etc.
  • Performs routine internal audits and inspections of facilities, processes, policies, and personnel.
  • Evaluate and analyze raw materials.
  • Additional duties as required.

Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in manufacturing within the food/ pharmaceutical industry.
  • Quality Assurance experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Biological Sciences is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills- written, verbal and interpersonal
  • Flexibility to work in AM and PM shift and sometimes weekends and overtime
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint; able to learn new programs
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and Food Labeling (FDA and USDA).
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with 80% percent of the time being in a production or laboratory setting.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, wipe, reach, bend, and safely lift to 35 lbs.

Graphic Designer

Full-time - Ontario, CA

Job Summary

The Graphic Designer job description includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of 7 Daze’s website, social media, product packaging, exhibitions and more.

Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibility

  • Design and develop digital and print assets for various platforms. This includes web assets/ pages, emails, digital banners, social/shareable assets, animations, printed assets, packaging, presentation decks, etc.
  • Understand and apply brand guidelines across all assets. Ensure on-brand continuity in visual messaging across all channels
  • Ability to take direction and run, creating variations of comps provided by our in house creative team.
  • Managing and setting up final press read files
  • Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet tight deadlines
  • Organize and maintain all assets

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, media, or equivalent

  • Graphic Design: 3 years (preferred)

Required Skills

  • BA/BFA in Graphic Design or comparable degree/experience preferred
  • 3+ years experience in graphic design or related field
  • Adobe Creative Suite mastery essential - Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom at the least.
  • Experience working with a variety of touchpoints; packaging, branding, advertising, displays, dielines, and websites.
  • Have a strong portfolio that shows versatility and strong command of typography and layout.
  • Competent in basic mechanical file production for smaller packaging projects
